FIDE Rating x Lichess Rating

Actually there is absolutely 0 correlation between the 2. I have seen GM players of 2500 ELO who are below 2500 in blitz on lichess (or chess.com for that matter) and then I have seen 2100 Elo players with 2500+ blitz ratings.
You are basically trying to compare 100m sprints with marathons and on top of that men vs women. Some women are going to be better than a whole lot of men at sprinting but would be bad vs marathon runners and vise versa and so on.
Just too many variables (take for example Michael Bowersock who is 2176 ELO and 2900+ blitz on lichess) that you just cannot compare any of it at all. Sure we can find a base line, but it still does not matter... if your good on lichess your good on lichess, if you are good in the real world, your good in the real world (and yes you can be good at both and you could suck at both lol etc)

Totally agreed. I think there is no use of comparing the 2 ratings.
Soon said is well said @ShAwN1708 #8 And should be hammered home to every novice to the site with a drumbeat as constant as the harping about the flu shot because this question is asked daily ad nauseam.

Its an average variation for all players who have sumbitted their ratings. The website can't read your mind, look up your rating, and then calculate the difference between it and the prediction XD.

I understood that.

But just it didn’t feel right to me.
Sorry
lol all of you love to go on about what your FIDE rating is and how massively different it is from your online rating. But your FIDE rating can only be trusted if you have played lets say 60-100 games in the last 12 months (then your rating would be accurate).
So using an obviously inaccurate rating to compare to your 100s or 1000s of games you have played online in the last 12 months is obviously just stupid.
