Sometimes my opponents are beating me, then their internet connection goes off and my only option is to force resignation on them, or wait until the clock runs out. Either way they lose points unfairly. A "force a draw" option would be a nice way to help stop this. Obviously some people would still force resignation, but it would still be helpful for some of us. Thanks!

Brilliant idea. It's based on respect, and considering forcing resignation will still be allowed, it won't be abused in any way. Good idea, and a solid insight into human psychology.
Good point bro, but if your opponent is beating you and lags out you should still resign instead of forcing a draw.

Communist that's not true. You can always fight even when you are losing (and you must). It's best to see the game to its natural conclusion. Maybe "force abort" would be better, so as not to affect anyone's score.

You can still do that, but this is another option for when people are obviously not ragequitting
