how could 2400 rated correspondence player play like this
This is a. public shaming, which is against the Lichess TOS, and what is wrong with Nxh7?
Engine recomended move... if black takes then white promotes and it's a mate in 5. Please think before calling a move bad (:
And really, black isn't completely lost UNLESS they capture the Knight. They are behind, but there is still counterplay to be had.
Yeah... @puzzlesandpuzzles
To be fair he only made 1 inaccuracy and so did the opponent... The only thing that makes the playing look bad is 1. d4 e5
But, still don't public shame.
And @KevBaile is right.

And to be fair, even 1. d4 e5 is a known opening, the Englund Gambit, which has quite a few tricks and traps that can be played with it.
Englund gambit
Yeah... and be quiet because your correspondence rating is WAY WORSE(Actually you haven't even played correspondences before) But mine is also bad
What is considered "good" for Correspondence? My provisional is at 1700-1800 now. I'm playing a lot better there than I do at any of the timed variants, but I still make moves that when I evaluate after are just absolute blunders or obvious mistakes.
