Your biggest achievement in your entire life

Winning the US Amateur under 2200 tournament in 1982.
@Yalturkmani
It's not clear if he's talking about biggest CHESS achievement or just biggest achievement. If it's chess achievements then it's definitely not off topic.
@youngmoney2299

A master such as yourself should not denigrate the achievements of other people. You're being an ass.

Moving right along ... if the OP meant biggest NON-CHESS achievement in your life then I would say getting my first book (computer science) published.
Gaining 100 rating points in one week and losing 200 the next week. That's a pretty impressive achievement of mine.
As a player generally:
Defeating David Navara in a Blitzgame.

As a player OTB:
Drawing against GM Dautov in a simultan.

As a player OTB in tournament:
Getting 6 out of 6 against similar rated opponants in on tournament reaching a (totaly unearned) performance of 2720.

As an arbiter:
Being arbiter in now 4 World Chess Championships (Blitz, rapid and handicapped).
I had chance to play against Boris Gelfand in simul and have a photo with a lot of top grandmasters like Grishuk, Karjakin, Nepomniachtchi and Anatoly Karpov :)
