Magnus Carlsen's English speaks to Hans Niemann

I am not using an engine with these ideas so feel free to critique my understanding.

Q1) What is black's best continuation to 8. e4?
Personally, I would consider playing 8.... d4. This closes the centre and if Black can follow it up with e5. The white bishop is blocked by it's own pawn. If White plays 9. e5 then 9... dxc3 10. exf6 Bxf6 and I think I prefer that position for Black.

Q2) Why doesn't Carlsen play 10. cxd5?
Black's queenside bishop is a little bit stuck out of the action. By capturing d5 White is helping to open up the position which here would benefit Black more than White.

Q3) What is white's best reply to 21...Nxc1?
22. Bf6 stands out to me and should force a checkmate in a few moves.
