If you don't believe me, ask yourself how you would feel if you get roasted by another player and the game is posted in a forum, let alone naming it something mean. Mods, please close this so a certain player will not get embarrassed and chased away from this (usually) peaceful website. "Verse" is not a verb,therefore it cannot have a past tense.
Actually, @obladie "verse" is a verb, although it's rarely used nowadays. It means to compose poetry. The past tense is indeed "versed". I, for one, am interested in hearing the ballad which the OP penned.
