It is impossible to create tourneys for many days. It shows to me only that I created a tourney but the tourney isnot showing on the tournaments board so noone can participate.
I think it is a permanent problem of lichess. Many others cannot create so u see for example only the official programmed Daily Atomic Arena.

Lichess misses a search page for tournaments, I requested the feature here : lichess.org/forum/lichess-feedback/search-page-for-tournaments
You can create a tournament still. All your tournaments are located here : lichess.org/@/melvet2/tournaments/created . You can share this among your friends. Due to the high amount of users, the tournament page wasn't navigable with all the user created tournaments. User created tournaments no longer show on the tournament page. If everyone wants to look at their tournaments created, they can go to
lichess.org/@/username/tournaments/created .
You can share this among your friends, team forums, etc.
Do not spam tournament chats/Lichess forums with your tournaments, this will result in loss of chat privileges.
Thank you

@Sazed This is a really dumb way to force users to try and hold a custom tournament. Variants get even more negatively effected. Nobody wants to have to spend time "advertising" their tourneys just to get people to join. The variant communities exist primarily because it used to be easy to find tourneys where other people were already playing.
Whoever thought this was the best solution to the problem is wrong. The ONLY way to get a busy variant tourney going now is if a TITLED player creates one. It is amazing to me that more people are playing chess on this site than ever, and lichess has made it harder to find the tournaments that I want to play. This is NOT an improvement to lichess.

It was more of a necessity than a solution. I'm sure there will be a suitable alternative in due time. But currently there are more pressing issues.
hello, are flo write you on behalf of the antisah community we want and new hourly tournaments as at crazzyhouse please do not marginalize us!
@lovlas @Sazed First of all, sorry for the ping. I understand Lichess have more important issues to resolve. Since Lichess have given the tournament hosting rights to titled players the fun variants are taking a hit :( . Would you consider giving tournament hosting rights to the top rated player(s) of every variant? If that's not possible would you consider creating official hourly/quarter day tourneys for few variants?
Thank you melvet. You asked the right question. I asked in another topic 4 days ago and got no reply.
So now, to see any tournament created by untitled player, we need to know username and find created tournament.
As many others said here, a very few people could find any other tournaments but those created by titled players. I don't have a thousands of friends to advertise my tournaments. I think it's the case for many players.
In addition giving titled players the right of hosting tournaments in a room, I find even discriminating. They are better at chess, but we should all have the same rights.
I understand lichess has a lot of things to do, but I don't see the necessity of doing it Lovlas. I created a tournament only once.
