Finally - A top 10 Trophy!

@jposthuma No. The games were correspondence.
I can simply start playing 5 days correspondence Atomic and hit top 10 eventually. But I don't . Because the thing that makes atomic fun is short time. correspondence Atomic would be an easy win for white.
He plays only correspondence. Not a single live game. 51 / 0 / 2
I have never attempted Racing Kings. The variant at a glance seems to require alot of skill and experience. Tactics and strategy's maybe even more complex than regular chess. Looking at Acpl of the top players, reveals most games with an Acpl >50, which leads me to think finding best moves is very challenging. A regular player can maybe enlighten us? Could be the game is quite basic, not requiring much analysis in selecting good moves. Anything is possible, so they say. Maybe a long time established live rating player <1500 can achieve a 2050+ status in a variant with an incredible win/loss record and average <20 Acpl.
@savagechess2k I don't think you would, and correspondence atomic is no easy win for white. (I challenge you to 10 games of 5d correspondence atom, show 3/5 wins with white if you wanna prove your point.)

@mdinnerspace RK is a weird variant, of all lichess variants most unlike regular chess (because the king can't be checked, it's imba and everything is about it). It's also the less played variant, probably because it's so unlike chess (apparently there are no weekly nor monthly RK). So it's the easiest in which to get trophies : top 10 is only 2110 rating, next are KOTH, 3+ and Horde where top10 is 2275 rating.
Good games look like this : lichess.org/jovllHui/ and lichess.org/fk4vewyP/

But from what I see, the strongest opposition NeverBeenTimid played to achieve his trophy was a 1680? with an experience of 6 RK games, and the rest was 1500? players and weaker. gg for clever abuse of the rating system, I guess. (The stats are nothing suspicious, it's easy to play perfect games at RK vs people who don't know what they're doing, e.g. 24 acpl in lichess.org/iAJyZfOS and that was bullet, not correspondence)
You are correct. Racing Kings is much more complex than regular chess. It takes real talent and a lot of hard work to break into the top 10.

Why not be a man and just ask me if I cheated instead of beating around the bush with your snide insinuations?

If it is cheating to have went to bed every night in 2017 with blistered fingers due to making thousands of moves with real pieces while studying then I guess I am guilty.

If it is cheating to have worked hard at my chess, playing through every Bobby Fischer and Morphy game at least 3 times each and finding improvements in many of them, then lock me up and throw away the key!

The only thing I am guilty of is loving chess too much. I earned that trophy fair and square.
You should post the screenshot of your trophy, you really earned those 10 minutes of glory :)
@NeverBeenTimid dont take @mdinnerspace messages too seriously.
He is probably a kid who needs some attention and this is the way he found to exist :-).
Enjoy your trophy and the achievement which seems to be important for you !
@lecw

thanks for info on RK and the games. The players are top rated on the leader board. Aswer being #1.
I followed the games and analysis which gave:
0 / 2 / 2 - 62 ... 1 / 1 / 4 -112
1 / 2 /3 -94 ... 0 / 2 / 1 -52

Quite high Acpl which seems to confirm finding best moves is difficult in Racing Kings.
