I don't like the method for reporting cheaters

Being expected to elaborate when reporting someone for cheating, gives the vibe that all my cheat reports are ignored. Very bad for transparency. Also, I don't want to elaborate beyond the game link. Do you not have anti-cheat tools? Cheating can be embedded, just use your tools and judgement. Also sub 90 accuracy doesn't exclude the chance they cheated.

Also I can't endure losing on lichess anymore, feels like not enough is done for anti-cheat. You might as well start broadcasting whenever a cheater gets banned site wide and preferably only those with over 500 games, or I'll just forever think you guys are only after the easiest of easy cheat cases.

They are. Ever since the covid boom, all determined efforts to curtail the overall cheat percentage have been abandoned. Both this site and com have switched to a 'we'll do what we can given the resources available' attitude. The resources available are thin. They're ill equipped to even scratch the surface. Too many cheats, not enough people on staff. Therefore, only the most flagrant and clumsy offenders get caught, and even then it'll often take several weeks. The automated system only catches cheats with same site analysis window open in a second tab.

I agree it's ridiculous for lichess to ask users to write up some kind of report about why they think their accusation is valid. No one is reading those. If they are, it's very unlikely any information given would be material to a ban or no ban decision. Not unless you're a high profile titled player and site admin care about your personal opinion.

Can you please tell where u learned this.
Humans will look at your report. When you think someone violated the TOS, it can be helpful to know why you think so, as there are potentially several different kinds of violations to check for.

This holds especially true when the attached game has more than half a dozen severe blunders for each side and shows no other abnormalities.

That being said, adding a message is optional.
