Yes; it sounds crazy; but if your familiar with grobs then you know its not; and opens you up to a lot of fun.
Just went and used it. I lost the game via time; as the other player did a silly move on my premove that gave him my pieces; but you get the picture. Had a nice piece lead till it went haywire due to the time.
Grobs is MUCH better as white(G4); but its still fun either way.
Best if other player doesnt also go G4 on his second move. His move was a good way to stop me. If he didnt do that I would of left white bishop open so I could move pawn up to G4 and block his knight from being able to come out.
The second game is a example of me using another grobs variation as black; with a serious blunder on move 6 due to pawn en passant. But, due to grobs and the wackiness it provides; it still set me up for victory.
