They can sometimes be winning like if the knight and king is separated by 3-4 files then we can hunt down the knight or if the opponent king is stuck in a corner you can trap the knight or mate the king. Other times it is mostly a draw.
If you are having a rook endgame try to make forks, although you are +2 points ahead. Always keep the opponents king trapped so you could easily checkmate.
If you are having a knight endgame try to make a fork and capture rook, but you are -2 points behind that's a advantage for the opponent. Try to get a Queen if you have a pawn(s)
