Near Death?

Disregarding all the mistakes in this game, around move 25, it is black to move. Before I run this position through Houdini, I want to know what do you all think is the best move to try and end the
game at this point, or is the attack pretty much stuffed?

Can't speak for Houdini, but that doesn't look like your attack can force through.

The best way to at least keep White thinking would be ...Nh5. Even if White tries to simplify to disintegrate your pressure with Qd1:e1 to threaten a Queen exchange, you could persuade White into
making up for the amount of time you lost launching a premature attack with ...Nxg3, sacrificing the knight for the pawn. In the ultimate game it probably wouldn't pay off, but after the exchange of
queens, your dark-square bishop could reclaim at least the pawn.

It's hard to say for sure though. I'd just be glad I could use my time to put pressure on the enemy like you did.
I guess you could do something like
...Nxd5
exd5 Rae1
Ne4

Not sure where you'd go after that but it looks promising
That looks like a convincing attack, too (assuming you meant ...Rae8).

In fact it appears to be the beginning sequence of Houdini's attack line in that position now that I check xD
What is wrong with 26. ... Qxg1+. You are already up material. This wins more and basically you win the endgame.

The "attack" you appear to have looks somewhat superficial. Your Q actually interfere's with your B, your Knight @f6 is not contributing to the attack and neither are your Rooks. You can try to play
something like 25. ... Bd6 with the idea of Nh5 and f5, white can neutralize your attack with Qe1.

Yeah, I was sort of letting this thread die; I had ran it through Houdini and it had taken with queen.
I hadn't thought about taking the rook with my queen 'cause in my head he had two defenders so I Immediately looked at other options but in reality he can't take back with the King so he would
have to take back with the queen and that leads to a rook and a queen for a bishop and a queen. I have to look out for that sort of thing.
I definitely forgot about trying to get my rooks involved though, that's something I'll have to look at in the future. Thanks for the input.
