What are the best first moves for classical chess?

I have very good experiences with f4, the bird, king's gambit, vienna gambit and the grand prix are my favourite.

I use the player database - there's an easy option to exclude bullet games. It's a much larger pool, for one thing, and shows lines I'm more likely to face at my level. (I look at the master database too, but have found the player database more useful.)

Daf*** notation is this
I personally enjoy 1e4 e5, 2 Nf3 Nc6, 3 Bb5 (Ruy Lopez) and find that it makes for a great game for me.
I usually play h3 or a3 and then pretend I have Tourette's. It completely confuses my opponents.

You better not appear in front of me or all your teeth will end up in your stomach. How can you call the Vienna Gambit bad?????
