Queens gambit accepted: Furman variation.

Question: In the Queens gambit, the furman variation, after the move´s: 1.d4 - d5.2.c4 - dxc4.3.Nf3 - Nf6.4.e3 - e6.5.Bxc4 - c5.6.Qe2 - a6.7.dxc5 - Bxc5.8.0-0 - Nbd7.9.e4 - b5.Bd3 - Bb7. I find the move 11.Nbd2 a bit more interesting then 11.a4 - , sins as I see the position, White is missing som development on the Queen side, also 11.Nbd2 requirs circumspection from Black.
Anyway... Here according to NIC nr.44 page 188 to 216, FIDE master Alexander Raetsky, who made som very nice analyse on this line, say´s that now, Black is more ore less forced to play the prophylactic move 11.. - Be7. But I found an interestion idea here, to wich nither NIC ore Alexander like to give me an answer to.
So maybe somone at this site like to juse som time on the position, and give me somthing to work with ( meening I need MORE THEN JUST 1 MOVE ) My idea here is: Rc8 ( !? N. maybe even !! )
Anyone like to help me here??

I hop.
P.S. Fritz 14 dosen find ANY probems with this move..So it cant be that bad. LOL
Yes 11...Be7 is what Tigran Petrosyan played

There are other possible moves too: 11...o-o, 11...e5, 11...Ng4, 11...Qb8, 11...Qc7.
The position is equal. Engines are not likely to provide insight here.
Thanks for that. How ever that dosen answer my question. Why not 11. ... - Rc8. N ( !? )
As Black, you're developing a queenside initiative in this line. Keep the c8 square for the other rook after 0-0. Compare for example with the line 11...Qb8 : why would you want to put your queen on b8 if not to have rooks on a8 and c8 ?
Maybe 11...Rc8 is justified by a plan but I can't find which one. Those symmetrical positions are deceptive because you can't assess a move in isolation. Planlessness will be punished in the long run, beyond the horizon of computers (this is not always the case in sharp positions where the only plan is to stay alive in the flurry of tactical shots).
HI... Thanks for the answer..
Well... The long turn idea is to try and keep the rook as a rolling part of c line, wich then can be use as both defence as well as attacking ideas a lond b7 g2 and c8 - c1 diagonal.
Well a white plan is Nb3, Bd2, Na5 to harass Bb7. It could make some sense to play Rc8 so as to be able to retreat Ba8 then, but it seems far fetched. It makes more sense to counter the white plan with the advance ...b4, but then the a-file opens and you need Ra8.
The real question is not "why not Rc8 ?", but rather "why Rc8?"
Well. Sins I m no IM FM GM ( and so on ) to me the rook move gives black a few things. First of all, it defend the bishop on c5. Secondly, the rook takes an aktiv part in the game and in the c line, and Thirdly, I think that a move like Be7 can be use to defend a move ore two latter( eks. if White trys to follow the idea in this line and play 12.e5. maybe the game can go: 12.e5 - Nd5 (12. ... - Ng4? ) 13.Ne4 - Be7, ore 13. ... - Qb6,and Black may still hold back the defend move Be7.Unless White take is ofcouse.
To me, I find the rook move much better then others idea´s. but then I am no grandmaster, so what do I know
