Did you had a farewell?

I've had opportunities to do it but no, I don't like it.

and besides, why do it ?

to say goodbye ? there are social networks to continue chatting with my friends and to keep in contact with them if they go far away. And my field (music) is a small enough world to manage meet up with childhood friends IRL.

Eat ? I don't eat outside of my family, especially if I don't know the exact composition of the dishes

Drink ? I don't drink alcohol and I don't plan to start, especially in society!

Dance ? if it's something like a Horah, yes. but dancing at a ball ? no, especially since I was lucky enough to never have had a crush !

And I'm usually the annoying guy at parties, the guy that no one would think of spontaneously inviting (because I don't like to be invited !)

Usually I'm the one who brings the food, but I don't eat anything (even what I brought!) and I watch people eat with a big smile. if it's an end-of-year celebration, I take stock of what has been done and where everyone needs to progress, sometimes I don't hesitate to ask questions about everyone's feelings about the last exams. I then look for someone with whom to discuss the most boring subjects, (real examples) such as :

- making hypotheses on musical practices among megalithic civilizations of the Neolithic, based on the engravings of dolmens and menhirs

- or how to cook a chicken and thinking about the morals surrounding the breeding and slaughter of the chicken.

If I'm still there, I then loudly praise anarchism and if there are curious people, I tell them about my own life.

then, after ensuring that the food I brought has been consumed, or as soon as the alcohol begins to take effect on the guests, I disappear.

Nevertheless, i wish you the best and to enjoy it @JASKIRATSINGH !

I am more active in real life, i like to play and gossip with my friends, when i am a kind of backbencher who sits in middle benches. Though i have only school friends in real life, around me. And having some party' and dance is fun with them.

Oh i am not that type, i always ask my friends
"So what's in today lunch box?"
I like to eat food from my friends lunch box.

Oh no, no drinking in my life.
And in school farewell drinking alcohol is forbidden though its not allowed in school even. Just soft drinks.
Well there was an "after party" after farewell, just for childrens in a villa , though i didn't went so many of Friends, well those people/children go who has to drink alcohols, smoke and have a weird kind of enjoyment. Horrible enjoyment. I just know that they use so many fouls words etc etc , not my type of party actually. School party was atleast in little good manners and respectful.

We have indian DJ's. Though nobody dance with there crush's , just with friends. Boys with boys, girls with girls or all together on the most famous song.
Teachers too dance with us on the farewell, well seeing teachers dancing which were strict all the year and having fun with us is kinda amusing.

Well farewell is different thing.
I myself never went to any Birthday parties ever.
Though i was invited less, but still i never went to any party.
Never went to a school long trips. Just day trips.
Well i went to one trip only last year but its a long story, in nutshell its a educational trip not a fun trip. We went to a remote village to teach village children.

Well thanks brother, i do enjoyed it, though i forgot to take some photos with my friends but i'll do it later, but yeah we had a lot fun.
And the show by our juniors were too great.
We also did last year for our seniors but this was much better than us though.

I've usually been at the front of the class when it comes to music theory lessons - or choir when I was younger. but despite my glasses, I'm not the arrogant guy, I have often been willing to give of my own time and knowledge to help those who were lagging behind or who didn't understand the course. I sometimes even voluntarily went to the last back row to help if there was someone (even if it was a stranger or someone I didn't know personally) who needed help.

I'm more like a battery or a motor

wow what a luck, I really would have liked to do that ! I have already played the piano in disadvantaged neighborhoods or as part of events to introduce people to the piano, so I would really like to be able to teach the basics of my instrument to young people !

I forgot to mention that one of the reasons I avoid parties (like any place with a large crowd) is that my physical dimensions are very disadvantageous to me and to others, I am rather tall so I have to be careful not to accidentally elbow the person behind me in the nose, I am now not very agile because of my chronic knee pain if I sit for too long or stand for too long.
i have to be careful at the tables because i can easily knock things over while sitting... but even visiting a castle on vacation or even waiting in line at the store is hell, i have to constantly look at the floor so i don't accidentally step on a dog or a child, especially in France, I have noticed that a lot of people let their 2-3 year old children wander around without supervision, sometimes crawling on the floor of stores or public places...

Wow! I hope you had a wonderful day. Even I'm from India.
My 10th class farewell is coming in the first week of February. I am very excited... :)) 11th and 12th grades are in junior college in my state.
Last week was the last day of school. Now we have pre-boards, farewell and board exams.
The colour theme is white...so we're not wearing sarees like our teacher said but lehenga cholis, cause white sarees don't really live up to the excitement mark. It will be a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to it.
I'm a bit sad too...because soon I won't be arranging the assembly lines, dancing with my friends, squabbling over lunch...I'm gonna miss school. Junior college is there but it won't be the same since all my friends are going to different areas.
At least my class boys are doing kurta-dhoti. It will be fun seeing that.
For us our English sir will dance (out of popular demand).
Our after-party is even more nice. We dance with our friends, take pictures, drink cool-drinks, and just enjoy. The 9th class will be playing the DJ. I recall that at last year's farewell, I was in ninth and I was anchoring/hosting. Basically that means standing at the podium with a mike and welcoming everyone with a speech, introducing games, and telling the audience what dance they are about to see, and responding to popular demand. Last year's demand was our P.E. sir and our English sir (I think).
