I also didn't see any errors in the console, and clearing the browser cache didn't seem to help
Ok, thanks. I'll try to get my hands on an iceweasel on debian.
Maybe something changed from firefox 32 to 33 that causes it.
Iceweasel afaik is simply a rebranding so it's unlikely that that's the cause.
It is, in any case ... ... puzzling

I can see the puzzle solution after I click 'give up', if that is any help. It's as if the chess board doesn't detect any clicks
@FinkelFland Same thing happens to me..
I use Chrome Version 37.0.2062.124 m

Have you guys tried a hard page refresh? Ctrl+F5.
Also, can you use the board editor? lichess.org/editor

Hard refresh didn't work for me
The board editor doesn't work. It highlights the squares when I hover over them, but I can't move any pieces. I can add new pieces to the board, by clicking the pieces at the top and bottom. I don't know if this is relevant, but by clicking on those pieces, it puts a new image of the piece below the cursor and it just stays there, it doesn't even move while the mouse button is still down. No js errors either as I could see.

I see, the image that's below the cursor is an actual piece, but it's not on the board yet. After having reloaded I must click 2 pieces before a piece appears on the board, and each time I click a new piece, the old weird hover piece appears on the board, and the one I just clicked becomes the new old weird hover piece. And when I click an old weird hover piece, the square on the board which it should've been on lights up.

Correction: when I *hover* over an old weird hover piece, the board...
