Can you help a beginner ?

Hello,

I am beginning to get more and more interested in chess, and i was wondering if someone could help me review one of my game ?

I am already using using the analysis tool and i know my bigest weakest is a LOT of blunder (playing too fast..), but it is harder for me to spot my less obvious mistakes.

Here is my last game ( black player) :

I already know i made a big mistake with move n°5 and that i could have done better with move 24/25/26.

Thanks in advance if you take the time to see it :) !

In general, it makes more sense to have a look at games that you *lost*, not won. Specifically, analyze why you lost and how you could do better next time (and improve gradually). If you win, you have already done better than your opponent, less to learn from that.

In that analysis, you should avoid to just name "playing too fast" as the reason for your mistakes. Time is merely an accelerant, you have to look for the actual thoughts that went wrong. On your level, that's usually going to be "I failed to spot a threat" (e.g. 5...h6, missing 6.gxf6) or "I failed to spot an opportunity to gain advantage" (e.g. 24...Qb4, missing 24...Rxc3). More to the point, you need to train your ability to identify hanging pieces at all times on both sides.

Don't bother too much about "spotting less obvious mistakes" before you have dealt with the obvious ones.
You dropped pieces, and didnt take the enemy pieces when they were free to grab. Try to be concentrated and see that you are not just giving your opponent free pieces like he gave to you (obivious mistakes like @ProfDrHack said).
1- Avoid changing without purpose.
2- Do not hang pieces.
3- Stay focused.
It is good to acknowledge your mistakes. There are quite a few blunders which is part of chess learning in my opinion.

The one move I would comment on is your 12...Be6. I don't get it. Here is what I don't like about it. It allows black to capture with his knight, which, when you recapture with the pawn allows the queen check. You didn't have to allow this. Developing the bishop is necessary to Q side castle but there are better ways to go about it.

Why move your pieces to squares that allows your opponent control of the game?
