You can also import a game using
lichess.org/paste but this will strip away notation symbols and comments from the game. Studies are the way to go, they provide the most features.
And if you want the game start at a specific position, just navigate to it and then copypaste the url to the forumspost. The #<number> at the end of the url indicates the half move number of the start position.
Fun puzzle, took me a good 5 minutes.
