Prussian Flag

Please would it be possible to include the Prussian Flag (the eagle) as an option? My family is virtually entirely Prussian, but not German. Indeed, I even have the Prussian eagle tattooed on my shoulder. It would be nice to be able to play under the flag of my grandparents and the generations that preceded them.

Some old German symbols/flags are related to the „3. Reich“ and therefore forbidden. I urge lichess to be careful, but of course they know that.

I would like to see that, but i highly doubt that Lichess will do it.

The Prussian Flag was was never forbidden and isn't even related to the 3rd Reich.

The colors, symbols and certain type of eagles, related with that, I would be careful. Later definitely forbidden flags look similar at first glance. It might be ok, but better erring on the side of caution.

That's wrong. There is no flag that's forbidden and look similar on the first glance. Who told you this?

Perhaps, the Prussian Flag without an eagle would be possible (Zivilflagge des Freistaats Preußen) but I don’t see how these flags may be useful, actually.

Which one? There are several different ones.
The ones that look similar to the Prussian Flag are the Flags that were used until 1921. They are not forbidden.
The ones that are forbidden are the Flags from 1935 until 1945 and they look completely different. They have a red Background and and contain a Swastika, not an Eagle.
