Chess Variant #2 "The Bitch from Hell"

Play a regular standard game...but the "Queen" can also move like a "Knight". It really changes the dynamic of the game! With all due respect to the ladies who play on Lichess...In a chess group I played in, We referred to the Queen as the "bitch" In this variant ...the queen is the bitch from hell. :]

I have tried it before, personally I think it makes the game worse.

It can confound years of study and play. Variants are nearly as old as the game itself. I looked up chess variants on wiki...The amount of chess variants listed is staggering. :]

One variation I used to play was basically chess except the kings were not allowed to move. We called it statue chess, and it was really interesting trying to find ways to attack the e8 square without leaving the e1 square defenseless.

I was reading about a chess variant called... "Contract Chess" To win the game...you each agree to mate with a specified piece. This would definitely complicate the game. It is not something that I would care to try...I wonder if you need to consult a lawyer before playing lol :]
