> I would probably pick my maternal grandpa. He passed away in July of 2015. He HAD lived a pretty long life (born in September 1920), but I still miss him. He was one of the most even-tempered, patient people I knew. His philosophy on work and employment was, "If you're going to be a ditch digger, be the best one you can be." He wasn't a "job snob." He taught me how to correctly castle when I was 14...and he taught me en passant. I sometimes wish I could have been a much better chess player. He and my dad tried to teach me chess when I was 7, but they forgot some of the rules. :)
Dam thats sad bro.....I would visit my Grandpa or my dad, maybe my brother I miss them all but If I had to choose one it would be my Grandpa...When I was 6 or 7 he would live with me and everyday we would go down to the lake where he taught my dad how to fish he taught me but I still don't know how to...He always called me his little banana muffin and that made me so happy.....He always gave me tight but good hugs and I wish he never died he died when I was 12....He was struggling with cancer and he gave up....I wish he kept trying......I wish he never gave up.....He was the best.....But now he is living his best life in Heaven and I'm ok to know that :)
