trophies for all players

If the non-finalists (let alone losers) in a tournament received a trophy just for participating, this would devalue the trophies of the victors of that tournament, and diminish everyone’s motivation for competing. Or if the trophies were clearly distinct from those of winners, they could be seen as a badge of shame.

It’s a bad idea, however you look at it.

If you really want one so badly, become patron.

@ancilnotfound your idea is very good we can have a trophy for elite tournament winners, lichess.org tournaments like 1500>,1700>
2000> blitz , bullet too.
and that should be very good and beautiful which will motivate chess.com players to join lichess.org also because I asked some chess.com players to join lichess.org but they said lichess.org doesn't have trophies for intermediate players.

And also we lichess.org should have a trophy for defeating engines in variants and standard but not including engine 1,2 & 3.

and if we have patrons then that's totally different because you need to pay money and patrons don't have a section like other lichess.org trophies and don't interrupt in between @Cedur216.

Patron is still a "trophy" that shows up along regular trophies. At least for as long as you keep it. Same holds for "Streamer"
