Beating an International Master

I'm pretty proud of this game, because I beat an IM with 0 mistakes and 0 blunders. He for sure outplayed me in the opening though, you can look at the computer analysis. Its a pretty telling graph, he builds a good advantage in the opening and then all in one foul swoop gets lost with one tactic. Interesting game.

2 things:

1. If I go along with your point, that means I beat an IM in bullet, which is still more impressive than beating a lower rated player.

2. Although I see what you're saying, I dont really agree with the sentiment. I analyze all my games. There are details that can be picked up from all of them. Infact bullet games can be very useful for learning openings due to the number of games you can get in. And tactics as well.

Nice one. I like how you converted it after trapping his/her queen. Did you actually see it was trapped when you played it?

Just a thing though: I am quite sure that the engine stops considering mistakes or blunders once you have an evaluation greater than 10. It does not mean that you played perfectly, but just that you did not spoil your advantage.

@#5, yes I saw that it was trapped

And interesting good to know. Wont take credit for the 0 0 then. Nice scalp to have though!
Congrats but this game is a perfect example of what is wrong with the engines analysis.

A position cannot be +2.8(winning) without black making a number of mistakes. The reason I say this is not to bash the game more so that people who analyse with the lichess engine realise their mistake and do not accept that they played well if the engine does not highlight a move they made as a blunder or mistake.
