This is for FIDE/Elo rating.
What happens when you play many chess rated tournaments within a month?
How is your rating adjusted for each tournament?
Does your performance in the last tournament affect your rating [for ranking and pairing] in the present tournament?
Note that all this is happening within a month.
After one month, do all those tournaments you played affects your rating or just a selected few.
I hope my question is clear?
[In summary, If I play a tournament this week and use a rating of 1900 with a score of 7/10 rounds.
Before this tournament was updated, I started another tournament the following week with a score 3.5/10 rounds. What rating will I use for pairing?]
What happens generally? Which tournament will be discarded to calculate my rating after one month?
How will the new rating when the monthly list is published be calculated from those tournaments?
Will only one tournament results be picked and which one?
Thanks as you contribute your answers.
You can rephrase the question or make your own assumption and possibilities.
Thanks.
