Attacking Chess Game

@Gambit2Mate I don't have a problem with d4 players I just don't think their games are very tactical and attacking but rather positional. I sometimes think d4 players are a little bit scared of sharp positions and like to push pawns till the end of their life.

I have a problem with c4 players tho. I lose against them. That is why I don't like them. But my idol Alekhine also played c4 so I guess it's cool ;D I just would never consider it myself. Also in c4 there is a lot of pawn play and closed positions.
Nice games @TheSelim

The argument that d4 players are afraid of sharp positions is nonsense. For instance I’m a c4/d4 player and a Sicilian player as you know.
d4 and c4 can lead to attacking positions, tpr said that and I think he’s right
@Gambit2Mate With d4 I am talking about Queen's Gambit; London; Catalan and so on which 90% of players play after starting with d4. Of course as soon as you played h4 and not c4 the whole dynamic of the game changed. With d4 play people usually refer to the typical starting moves

The one who asked the question showed a game with the Englund Gambit which is sharp compared to the usual setup and a decision from black not white; but it is not all compared to some e4 lines.

still thx for sharing this interesting starting idea. Just wondering weren't you worried about black playing d5 and c5 attacking your center with his flank pawn?
