what to do if you feel like quitting chess

after seeing this thread, imma try to stop playing chess for at least a week and come back to it, however idk how successful i will be at doing that since i am always playing chess
k i am back, let me see how i will play, i won't post my games however
Nothing but options for you. I took a break earlier this year for about 6 weeks and it helped a lot.

It's not like you got a face tattoo, nobody is really going to notice you're not playing chess everyday.

Get some other stuff done, and when you are motivated to return to playing chess come back with some positive energy.

Or get crazy and just study endgames Or do 500 puzzles a day on Puzzle Storm until you dream them. You will be aching to play chess and show your new skills after a couple of months.

If you think you are playing too much chess, you probably are. Take it down a thousand and glide for awhile.
You see, after too much of thinking, there is a point when the mind gets exhausted. So just take a break, different people take different durations of breaks. So just chill, refresh and come back stronger!
