I Need a Good Chess Book

I am new to chess. October 2020. I play with the computer and the puzzles. There’s so much more I need to learn. Can anyone recommend a good chess book for beginners? Thanks

Chess Fundamental. The other book will be useful when you hit 1800.
Don't start with "My System" by Aron Nimzowitsch if you are new to chess. Good choice would be Lasker's "Manual of Chess" or Lasker's "How to Play Chess" and "Chess Fundamentals" by Capablanca.
A lot of good things with "Guide to chess improvement" by Dan Heisman.
Artur Yusupov (Jussupow) is good if you are willing to do some serious work:

PS: I hope posting the links is okay by the forum rules? It is not meant as advertising for this particular shop. As a matter of fact I have never bought anything there myself and I don't know if they can be recommended or not. I just wanted to link to some basic info about the books.
Some of the books listed above are nice but I also recommend you to solve puzzles one hour a day. Calculation is what makes you get out of difficult positions!
