Does it make sense to sacrifice a knight for two connected past pawns (on their starting position) ?

For such question, there's always somebody replying "It depends on the position".
‘It depends on the position’.

I don’t think anyone else has mentioned it yet.
What depends on the position?

Well, I guess your entire position depends on it afterall.
Two connected passed pawns can become powerful, depending on the position. A class A player could have forked bishop and queen with his advanced connected passed pawns, but he declined to do so, and won with them.

Note: he thought about the position a long while before deciding to not fork.
