Brutal tactical awakenings

I like it when I use my thinking time well, and find better moves. Here, however, my "brilliant" looking 22.d6d7 (instead of 22.d6xc7) had a simple refutation as Stockfish showed after the game : 22...Bf2-h4!! 23.d7d8Q Bh4xd8 24.Rxd8 and white has no advantage left at all.
Who lets a passer promote to queen, and play a bishop to the rim of the board ?
If you are not happy with taking his rook 22 dxc7, then why should he give up a rook for your passed pawn 22...Rxd7 when a light piece suffices 22...Bh4. You overthought the position. Besides, in contrast to a knight, a bishop is not dim on the rim of the board.
