Why wasn't this rated?

In this game after we both made our moves, he resigned and I didn't gain any rating.
Is this supposed to happen, even after 1 move.
I know I sound super greedy, but rating :P

The game was turned into casual because your opponent has violated the ToS.
They got marked right after your game started - and that action turns any ongoing game into casual.
Your confusion is understandable. Sorry for that.
