What do mean by that, "trolls"? Could you elaborate that further?
There is always a report button as well as the blocking one.
looking through the games i cant see any where there's been chatting let alone trolling

Trolls?
Nothing is perfect but, as a newcomer to lichess (& to chess), I met people willing to help me learn and play with me whatever my (lack of) skills, or even just people having a kind word. For what I can see, mods are doing their work to try to keep everything clean, and the ambiance looks quite good.
If that's trolling, I'ld suggest you never try to join any other online (non-chess) gaming community ;)
