French defense players around .

Hello . Is there any high rated french defense players on youtube , that I can follow and learn from them ? Because ,watching all the teory is very boring and hard to memorize the moves. I'm believe watching actual games would be quicker improvment .
I dont want to discourage you but quit on the french defense i see you are kind of a beginner so memorizing deep complex opening theory wont help you. Play classical openings against 1. e4 play e5. against 1. d4 play d5. Study your games, look at how the old masters played especially paul morphy take your time to study tactics and end games

@CerebralBallsy Just because this player obviously shouldn't be focusing on opening theory doesn't mean they have to quit the opening. The French defense is pretty simple in its concepts and ideas, it doesn't require any memorisation at a lower level.
There is ChessNetwork for sure but he is not only playing that. After that, I don't know lots of youtubers who are english speakers.

If you speak french, I have some names
@CerebralBallsy , imo e4 e5 is much more complex. e4 e5 nf3 nc6 bc4 nf6 ng5 and you are getting a rather tactical position. Now I only started playing the french defence at 1700 fide so i was not a beginner, but it is one of the more simple openings to play with lots of transposition.
and has many aggresive variations, personally i like the poisened pawn lines very exciting.

In my opinion playing the French is annoying as black because it invites white to put their pawn on e5 which they often do, and there seems to be no straightforward way for black to get aggressive momentum out of that position.
@asdf5656 You break the center with f6 and c5. From there the ball starts rolling, in an advance variation 4... Qb6 gives black good changes in the milner-barry. furthermore 3. Nc3 can be met with Bb4 which leads to double edged winawer games. most annoying is 3. Nd2 the tarrsch but one would be suprised on how 3... Nc6?! can give black a quick way to remove the e5 pawn and reach a comfertable position
