I was in a winning position during endgame, my opponent blundered, a take back was sent, I accepted, and the game ended in a draw, as apparently I accepted a draw, not a take back. The convo column says I was offered a draw and accepted it, but it was definitely a take back offer during the game.
Can anyone explain this please?
I have also been tricked by that. In a totally lost position, the trickster sends a takeback of your move. You accept, and wait for his takeback of his move. The trickster delays to make you impatient, then finally sends you a draw offer instead of a takeback. Expecting a takeback offer you impatiently click on accept, so the trickster gets a draw offer accepted.
Hmmm meta-chess then. Cheers.
switch off takeback and save a lot of trouble.
