Studies can have positions that should not be possible for example
go to my test study
That position is not possible as white would capture black king
Also the problem is u can analyze these positions with engine.
Previously even though u cant toggle the engine on u can use the shortcut L and the engine turns on, they fixed it but the space bar shortcut still works, as the space bar plays the best move so it turns on the engine to find it. Just go to the study and click the space bar.

EDIT: What is really interesting too is that when I use a specific engine like stockfish 17.1 it says the best move is c1 to b5 for some reason even though there is no pieces there it just points an arrow. It says 2nd best Ra8 is equal 0.0 3rd best is c1 to b4 for some reason, 4th best is kd3 to b2???? its not even blacks turn and the king isn't a knight, and 5th best is c1 to c6 for some reason. This probably isn't that useful if they just don't allow illegal positions in studies, but may be useful for stockfish developers on how the engine works why does it show these moves in illegal positions?
