Danish gambit accepted

I do doubt thet with players of that caliber trap would worked in anything else but bullet. Black is better even with best play so Iguess Qe7 is a good wayt o meet that gambit

But this not danish gambit accepted. Just saying.

Thanks for the feedback, you GM's are great. Any more information from anyone playing the Danish Gambit Accepted and winning would be a big help to me in my journey to become part of the chess loving family.

At my level - about 1500 blitz, very few people know how to play against the Danish Gambit. It makes people think and slows them down and, as a slow player myself this is very useful. There are also a lot of different traps that black can fall into so in quick games that happens surprisingly often. I've played it 4 times today (or a variation that came from trying to play it) and won every game. Over the last week, it's been by far my most successful opening. Not only that but it's great fun.

I appreciate that it might not work for higher rated players, but it's nice at my level.

Here was a 10 move win this evening. To be fair it was a huge mistake from my opponent on this one!



Here was a 6 move win tonight where someone simply didn't know what to do upon d4 on the second move. So, it never became a Danish, but the principle of the pawn to d4 as an attacking move (with the intension of playing the Danish) can confuse people.

I'm going to study them and add them to my collection of way to win with the Danish Gambit. If you can, post more of your wins with the Danish Gambit. Turkiyem021, Are you saying d5 if they decline the gambit and then Nf6?

@StrategoAttack I think he recommended for black to play 1.e4 e5 2.d4 exd4 3.c3 d5 4.exd5 Nf6 as a way of declining the gambit

I used to play the Danish Gambit when I was a 800 on chess.com (I don't play on that website anymore, lichess is way better), anyway this is how it went, lichess.org/LydneEg9, my opponent clearly didn't play it that well

I'm not this aggressive anymore, but I did score a few victories as a low rated player playing this opening which confused my low rated opponents

Right now I'm concentrating on when the gambit is accepted. Pn, thanks for posting the game because it answered my question on how to win with the Danish Gambit Accepted.
