Why do some players show poor sportsmanship in casual games?

I just played a casual crazyhouse game, I was completely winning but since it was casual, I allowed my opponent to take their move back, and then after that I requested a takeback as well, but he declined. And then after the match this is what he said prnt.sc/12dim0q. He won a game that he wasn't supposed to win since I was being nice to him and he began to show poor sportsmanship afterwards.

Why are some players like this?
you should report him! Just treating you badly after you gave him a favor! And cussing at you! He should be banned!
Kids are mean because they're trying it out.

I don't know what excuse adults could possibly have.

But of course, we know that the relative anonymity of online life makes it much easier to be mean. Your opponent would have been more likely to be civil if you had been face to face.

So two things: one, I suggest that you block people like this.

Two, if you feel strongly about this, you might report him. Abusive language has no place on Lichess.
Some players have Bad Personality. Just block and report them.
I just had a friendly conversation in a rated three check game lol We both congratulated each other after a win, this is what true sportsmanship is like :) Even though I lost rating, I really dc that much.
You have the option to disable takebacks, it's under Preferences -> Game Behavior
@KeithDenning I definitely agree with you, I did both, it's kind of not surprising how the opponent I played had an average crazyhouse opponent of 1600 and a highest win of 1970 (probably from flagging) with a rating of 2000. Some people take their ratings for granted and use it as bragging rights, when they got it clearly from cheap wins.

EDIT: correct, he won by flagging, his opponent had like mate in 5 lol
I mean I offered him a draw before, I, I mean, I offered him a draw. He offered a draw and I offer to draw. I mean that's fine I don't care because he offered to draw and I offered later that's just bad sportsmanship.
You get the good guys and the villains, its like in a cartoon or wrestling.
The good guys are the "heroes"
But ive recently turned "villain" in the chatroom, because i dont care anymore, when you can have a losing streak, you can just like snap....
Its psychological, and fictional just like in cartoons.
