Should grant takeback in rated play?

I am getting back into playing chess and find online play very different then over the board.
In any event I always try to remember to say Hi in chat when playing.
I like to have friendly play even in a rated game.
I was playing a few rated Blitz gamed and had takeback requests which I accepted.

A couple rated games however where I granted a few takebacks and I was clearly ahead.
I saw what I thought was another takeback request after opponent made a "bad" move.
It turned out I accepted draw!!!!!!

should I not ever accept takebacks in rated?
In fact it's you who decides if you want to grant or not, but it's a shame that most of them refuse :(
one who asks for takebacks doesn't understand a crucial element in chess: the fear that one mistake can cost the game.

Because some of us are playing on tiny phone screens and sometimes the pieces do not end up where we want them to. Of course, takebacks can be abused, but I usually grant them when it is obvious it was a slip.

I agree take advantage of them, if it’s a causal game you can accept you won’t lose any points or anything, Rated? TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEIR BLUNDERS
