I'm not sure this is something that would have widespread support, but I was thinking that maybe having puzzles for variants could be a useful learning tool!
The motivation for the suggestion is:
Recently, I've been playing mostly Crazyhouse, and while the learning curve is steep and multifaceted, one of the big things that requires better assessment are "new" mating patterns (which arise because of the ability to place new pieces onto the board).
From a standard chess perspective, puzzles have helped my recognition of mating patterns + tactics quite a lot. Perhaps we variant-players could benefit from having a similar tool?
