rapid over the board tournaments

have you ever played rapid in over the board tournaments? I’m playing 20+0 tomorrow, and I’ve never played rapid before in real life. Is it too fast? Normal? How did you feel when you first played?
its good and fun for playing rapid in OTB Watch Out your clock!
I started playing OTB tournament in USA occasionally about 2 years ago.

* It will be faster than online 20+0 if you are required to notate your moves.
* Be aware of rules on touch move/chess clock/etc. that you need to deal with OTB but not online.

* This one only if you care about rating. Don't be too surprised to see opponents, especially kids, play much better than their rating indicated. I think the pandemic makes online rating more inflated (due to many beginner new joiners started with lichess 1500)& OTB rating more deflated (due to many people improve a lot during pandemic lock down but play with pre-pandemic OTB rating). Here is 1 data point, last year when my lichess rapid rating peaked at 2006, my USCF rating was 1235. The situation is less severe this year but I feel like it is still a thing...
Blitz chess games and the like are VIDEO games
indeed. The best shooter is the winner. Thus Arena blitz tournaments are reminiscent of the spaghetti western movies.
