Should make for a fantastic olympiad to watch. I think India are my favorites for first with how well there youngsters are playing. Alireza not being there for France and no hikaru for USA is a big shame.
Its a bit disappointing in the female event to see so many of the top players absent. For example China boasts all 4 of the current top 4 women players in the sept 2024 rating list including world champion hou yifan. yet none of them are playing . On the plus side this makes the competition wide open with numerous potential winners.

How to subscribe broadcast to watch a team? For example if I just want to follow my country team. It seems difficult because the broadcast divided into several parts.
