Plz Help : Scicilian Defense, Najdorf

Hello,
I know Scicilian defense is a really good opening, but why top pros dont play it more? ( vs 1.e4 they usually go for ruy lopez, giuoco piano). Most of the games i found, it is bitz game.

Why they play more often Scicilian defense in blitz games than in classical games?
Is Scicilian defense really that good?

Is the Najdorf Main Line a viable way to play as black ?
Because in database for najdorf Variation Main Line as exemple its like 75%win for white.
And when i play it as black, ok i have counterattack possibilities but its dangerous white put a lot of pressure. And when i am white i feel like i have the advantage easily until i blunder :)

I think I'm not ranked well enough to hope to have an answer lol...
At the top, the players try to win with White and draw with Black. The easiest draws for Black are the Berlin variation of the Ruy Lopez, the Petroff, and the Caro-Kann.
Bobby Fischer said that he got good when he realized that you can win with Black. His defenses were the Najdorf and the King's Indian Defense. He chose the defenses with the most counter attacking chances.
At your rating, I would suggest that you play easier openings. Concentrate on the opening principles and just get to a playable middle game. You should learn to play the game before you start to memorize long theoretical lines.
ty for helping @jonesmh
at my level the color of pieces give no advantages :)
i will look more in e4 e5 openings, i just know a little bit about italian game.
But i will continue to learn scicilian defense, when i play vs better players i find very funny i hold equality for 15-20 moves ;)
Sicilian defence is of course viable, but requires a lot of hard work to keep up with the latest developments. Kasparov said that he had not enough time to keep up with both the Najdorf and the King's Indian Defence.
Maxime Vachier-Lagrave and Anish Giri play the Najdorf all the time, they are top players. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the Najdorf.
Which is better, the najdorf or the dragon? (I prefer the dragon)
The Najdorf has a pretty much forced drawing line. The Dragon has more chances as White normally castles queenside and a sharp battle ensues.
Neither is good choice unless you have the time and memory to keep up with theory.
The Najdorf actually doesn't requiere as much theory knowledge as the people think. The Scheveningen e.g. is much more and the Dragon too. In many lines like 6.Be3, 6.f3, 6.Be2,6. a4 you set up in the same way with e5 (ok, Bg5-lines you play e6), Be6, Be7, 0-0, Nd7, Rc8. Then you get a playable position, but the positions are sharp, there are many complications, but in my opinion the Najdorf is nevertheless worth it to study, then you will for ever have a weapon against 1. e4 to play for a win.
