Lichess matches found in Chessbase connected to Name

The new Chessbase makes it possible to search the Lichess database for matches and looks at likely overlap when it comes to openings, meaning if I play the same lines OTB as I play on Lichess my opponents are gonna find my Lichess account and will be able to prepare even better. Is there any way to avoid this?

I would like to keep playing on Lichess but this would be a huge downside.
Hi could you tell us more about this feature? I am not familiar with it.

An Austrian Youtuber made a video about it since this feature was mentioned on like an advertising sheet he got in the mail from chessbase, I dont know more about it.

I could not find it in chessbase;
I could not find any youtube video about it; (I watch videos describing all the new features and no1 even hints at this)
I could not find any reference to this in any adds for Chessbase.

To make it clear, what I understand is that you are saying that there is a search feature in CB17 that allows you to search the lichess.org database and find your opponent's lichess account based on the " overlap of openings" to his OTB openings.

Sorry thats my mistake. By "the new Chessbase" I was refering to Chessbase 18.
If you CTRL+F for "Lichess" on this site you'll see "www.newinchess.com/chessbase-18-premium-package"

Thank you for the information!

I see it says: "Player preparation by matching Lichess games: Matching Lichess or Chess.com accounts via statistical matching provides deep insights for opponent preparation!"

I am very interested in seeing exactly what this is..
As shown in database.lichess.org/ (no specific player) anyone can download games from all players

Furthermore, games from a specific player can be downloaded via the Lichess API
Chess.com also has an API that allows you to download games in single player

But here's a tip: if your opponent doesn't know your account, he won't be able to prepare

But, as the OP said, if the lines he plays OTB match his own, his opponents would guess his account easily as his play OTB will match that with what he plays online. Please read #1 carefully.

In technical mode it was always possible, as happened in the WCC with Ding
