I like closed sicilian as black

Hello there, since my last post, my chess type of play changed drastically. I always tought i love open and hate closed positions however now im london system player as white. As a resoult I found myself a better player than before, good for me :p. And now there is a problem, as black against d4 i play benko/kid type of opening. I think thats because I like to take my opponent out of his comfort zone, as many players prefer open than closed games so I play d4 as white and when they propose me to play closed game i'm like heck no! So there are we coming to playing vs e4. Recently I have huge succes when my opponent doesn't try to play open sicilian. But when they do I am trying dragon but I don't get good positions systematicly. There comes a question is there any sicilian that comes from open sicilian position that is similar to closed one? I'm decant tactical player but I don't like fireworks and pawn race type positions. Inb4 thanks for your comments! Love u lichess comunity
Maroczy bind if you play the accelerated dragon is one possibility that comes to mind. Even if white doesn't play c4 you should still have a comfortable game.
If you do not like the open Sicilian, then do not allow it. Possible is 2...Nf6, championed by Nimzovich. Example:
I like this idea, I will definitely put some time to analyze it, however it does not have anything similar in structure of typical closed syc.
I tought about something like this. 1. E4 c5 2. Nf3 d6 3. D4 cxd 4. Nxd nf6 5. Nc3 a6 (aka najdorf) and now only moves for black are going: e6, Be7, O-O, Bd7, b5, Nc6 (in any good order, it's kinda schevenigen but idk)
"I don't like fireworks and pawn race type positions"
That is exactly what you often get in the Najdorf Variation.
Besides in the Najdorf black often plays ...Nbd7 not ...Nc6 and ...b5 and ...Bb7, not ...Bd7. The main idea of the Najdorf is ...e5 without allowing white Ndb5. Only when white prevents ...e5 black settles for ...e6.
Another variation that is more positional is 1 e4 c5 2 Nf3 Nc6 3 d4 cxd4 4 Nxd4 Nf6 5 Nc3 d6.
Yee, I know what Najdorf is like, just wanted to know wkat u think about type of setup I presented it's pretty different and i belive it forces more positional type of play.

Oh, coming back to nimzovich sicilian, what about: 1.e4 c5 2.nf3 nf6 3.nc3 e6 4.d4! We are in open sicilian once again :/
If you play the Sicilian, there is no way to avoid the Open Sicilian. But there is a way of making it less attractive for White : 2...a6, the O'Kelly variation. It's definitely not like the Closed Sicilian, but White shouldn't play d4 any time soon in this variation.
Another approach, already mentioned earlier, is to play the accelerated Dragon 4...g6 aiming at a Maroczy Bind. Even if the d4-pawn has been exchanged, the Maroczy Bind is a rather closed structure where e4 players might not feel comfortable. Also, it is instructive because you develop a feel for elastic manoeuvering, keeping a position flexible and "doing nothing constructively" (i.e. implementing a plan as soon as your opponent makes a mistake).
#7 With the Nimzovich Variation black can avoid the open Sicilian; do not take ...cxd4, but play ...d5 instead. Example:

#8 In the Accelerated Dragon Variation, it is up to white to play the more positional Maroczy Bind 5 c4 or the normal 5 Nc3 after 1 e4 c5 2 Nf3 Nc6 3 d4 cxd4 4 Nxd4 g6.
I would not not play stuff because i dont like some of its aspects. I play the objective best line. In the Sicilian this seems to be the Najdorf.

Black can not enforce closed Sicilian positions. In the closed Sicilian (referring to the fianchetto lines here) black controls d4 and already fights for the advantage. Best for white is to play d4 immediately on move 3. Here white can get a bit against all lines where black plays g6 and Bg7.

If you dont like such pawn races (why?), maybe play Caro Kann.
