Your site is infested with engines. Why don't you monitor when a player loses approximately 200 rating points, and then start looking at the players that were matched to spot engines.

Not sure what you even mean by that lol.
That being said; I used to be one of the first to dismiss this. But now I'm beginning to wonder. Its one thing for engines to slip by; its something else entirely for them to be on the leaderboards....even after marked engine.

After the @Atrophied debacle there should be a bit more due diligence; especially on the leaderboards.
Anyone who makes it onto the top leaderboard page should be seriously scrutinized; otherwise it makes lichess look incredibly bad if they are later marked engine.
Again; all that being said; with the high volume of players and (probably) small mod staff I'm sure they do the best that they can.

How can us as honest players help? Other than reporting suspicious players...maybe there should be an incentives program to weed out the cheats

It is our duty as responsible citizens of the sight to report people who we deem suspicious, and we do need proof. I have reported many people, and have gotten many banned. Those of you who complain about cheaters, shape up. There are a limited number of mods, and they cannot be everywhere at once. So stop complaining and be a good citizen. Report people you believe are cheating and help out the lichess community.

This site is infected with paranoids as well.
And with people who think and claim one can cheat in an intelligent way. And with people who declare that they are accused unjustly. The last two are probably the same guys, it‘s before and after the red banner...
