3D view is best for chess

Well there's a reason most of us don't use it.

Yeah, we dont use it much, there are quite a few reasons for that. For instance, if I only play 2D I'll get used to it and stop making the types of mistakes.

Yeah i use 2d as 3D pieces confuse me with which is the king and which is the queen

3D view is good, but its extremely complicated and confusing. I prefer using 2D view

I use it on chess.com where i can afford to waste rating.

3D is great ! ( for me anyway )
Helps me concentrate and makes me think I am in a real over the board chess event.

3D is great. Real 3D. That's why I play my long time control games on lichess using real board and pieces with my phone next to it as a "scoresheet".

I highly recommend it to scratch that OTB itch right now.

3D-board .... I tried for a bit, and lost much bullet rating ... Maybe useable for slower time-controls, but not like blitz & bullet. But that's only my meaning :)
