I also need to learn but I use the learn tab in the top left of the desktop site labeled LEARN. Inside of it there are Puzzles, Practice and Chess basics among other things. It is a really valuable resource.
There are many good resources out there. Lichess has some, see: lichess.org/learn#/ and lichess.org/practice for good coverage of the fundamentals.
oh also make sure to @Tiyris when you give him tips
I gave a look to the practice tab and it looks really interesting! Cant wait to start it
