how did you come up with your name

IDK what you're talkin' about. Pink rocks.

My brother liked rubix cubes and I asked him to come up with a username for me and thats how
grammalu was my mother's yahoo id for pretty much the duration of Yahoo games. She got it done. When she was in her '70s, she learned the rules of mah-jongg then pretty much figured the rest out by herself. Within one year she became top ranked Mah-Jongg player on Yahoo games. She was the master of any game like cribbage, backgammon, kicked my ass in Scrabble. I asked her once to try chess and she just laughed. Pretty much like when my father tried to get her to play bridge. They made terrible bridge partners, because she had to figured things out her own way, as did Einstein, who as a child was considered mentally deficient because he was slow to cough up the answers for simple arithmetic questions. My father was pretty good at most things, but he had to work hard at it. My mother didn't have to try to hard. That's biological, and whatever I have came from her. I could have used my father's work ethic, but I just don't have it. My mother died a couple of years ago, age 89.

So why did I pick it? I was pretty sure it would be unused. We'll see what it brings me. And it seems now appropriate.

Waa I hate my username it was randomly picked without thinking about it and now here I am and I hate it I hate it I hate itt

No I can't, and if even so, how.
I was 7 when I created my chess.com account, so when it said “enter username” I entered my real name. I just ended up sticking to it when I switched to lichess too :D

You cannot change the username itself, you can only change the small letters and capital letters. To change it altogether you would have to deactivate and delete your current account and make a whole new one altogether which kinda sucks but I've done it. I was TheRealGiraffe then got the idea of my current username, cheers.
