I read it was Russian shelling that murdered the 10 innocent people. Russian troops don't need to be active in any given area for shells to drop on them, as we have witnessed elsewhere

Actually, you don't know what money can bring (or perhaps you do), but it's quite possible that Al-jazeera has indeed sold its soul to the devil. Few days ago US "upgraded" Qatars' (the country which owns Al-jazeera news channel) status to "major non-Nato ally", and given their close ties, it's entirely possible that this is indeed the case here.
