When I send 1 team message it goes to 600 members, takes 5 minutes. Also I have organised my life now so I can spend more time on chess and less time at work

LOL no I am known for playing awful chess, and running a lively team or two, but I wrote a blog and 20k people saw it so I guess that's where the fan mail started from...

does anyone know if there is an extension for desktop or github (or in phone for me) ? I have the same problem as a team even if I "solved it" by sending in the PM for each person interested and used to our tournaments: the link of the tournament and a small explanation of our objectives for the day, but I would like to be able to select manually those who will receive the messages because not everyone wants to unsubscribe but not everyone always has the possibility of playing several times a week, if you know what I mean: adapt the team messages to be more efficient

No there isn't yet an extension to select large groups to message beside "whole team". There are data storage costs and EU private data storage laws that affect our decisions what to store.

Thanks for the report, it's been known for a while but low priority since it affects very few users: github.com/lichess-org/lila/issues/11985.

Will try to see if I can get around it eventually.
