Letting us change username?

Yes they should allow to change user name atleast once

you guys can create petitions all you want. but this is something that is literally in the faq: lichess.org/faq#change-username
so it's extremely unlikely that anything will be changed.

That would be nice, if only this thing wouldn't be "suggested" once a week and the FAQ (which the forum btw clearly states you should read before posting) didn't literally say this will never happen.

So would you develop it @benwerner or keep the same

Yep

not allowed because its impractical, you can close existing account and create new one if you want

Yeah true but u cannot use the same email address for another account even if u close ur older one.
